History

Ives Plumbing Ltd has been operating from our Petone premises for over 35 years. We currently have a staff of 4 including a certifying Plumber/Gasfitter and registered Drainlayer. Over the years we have successfully trained numerous apprentices through to qualified plumbers. Currently we have one staff member who is training through Primary ITO towards a National Certificate in Water Reticulation Level 3 and one staff member who is a qualified serviceman

Our main focus

The main focus of our work currently is in both public and private water reticulation. This work involves the installation and service of water meters and backflow preventor devices. We also test and certify backflow preventors.

We are qualified

As approved contractors for Wellington Water Ltd we also undertake new water service connections to council watermains. Our staff hold all the necessary qualifications to allow this work including traffic control, STMS, work place First Aid, Electrofusion Welding and are IQP qualified in backflow prevention.

We currently have one staff member who has gained a National Certificate in Water Reticulation Level 3 Water (Planned and Reactive Maintenance Technician) and another staff member who is working towards the same qualification.

All staff are registered ConstuctSafe Workers.
